The Central Bank of Brazil and the Andorran Financial Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On 1 April 2021, the Central Bank of Brazil and the Andorran Financial Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allowing to strengthen the relations of cooperation and coordination between both authorities by formally establishing a framework of mutual assistance in relation to the supervision of financial entities.

In this way, the MoU between both authorities provides the formal framework for the exchange of information, technical assistance and cooperation in different supervisory processes such as, among others, licensing and continuous supervision of cross-border establishments, promoting the integrity and stability of the financial system. The MoU took effect on the day of its signature.
