Public opening hours of the AFA

Measures COVID-19

Following the declaration on March 11 by the World Health Organization (WHO) of a pandemic for coronavirus outbreak COVID-19 and in accordance with recommendations of the Government of Andorra, we inform you that within the AFA’s contingency plan, we have settled the following schedule:

  • From the 4th August to the 7th September:
    • Monday to Friday: from 09:00h to 14:00h 
  • From the 9th September onwards:
    • Monday to Thursday: from 09:00h to 13:30h and from 15:00h to 17:00h
    • Friday: from 09:00h to 13:30h

In spite of the establishment of these new public opening hours, the AFA recommends that, whenever possible, procedures and communications continue to be carried out electronically and reminds that the e-mail address recepcio@afa.ad is still enabled for the reception of documents and communications between supervised entities and the AFA.

Should a direct visit to the AFA be deemed as necessary, please be informed of special measures that have been established and precautions that are required to be strictly observed by all persons while they are staying inside the AFA’s premises.

  • Hydro-alcoholic gel dispenser must be used before pressing the doorbell button.
  • Capacity at the AFA reception is strictly limited to a maximum of three people.
  • A minimum safety distance of 2 meters must be maintained.
  • The reception area has been furnished with a protective screen to prevent contact with the person attending the visits and a hydro-alcoholic gel dispenser.
  • Hydro-alcoholic ice dispenser must be used in case of exchanging documents.

However, making an appointment by phone at the number (+376) 808898 is recommended in order to avoid overcrowding.
