The Head of Government communicates the names of the ministers

After the act of oath of the Head of Government, Xavier Espot, last Thursday, May 16, and as he highlighted that day, has been working on the configuration of the Government of the eighth term. This configuration has already been completed this afternoon, so the formal order of the Government, which will have the same number of women and men, is as follows: 

- Head of Government: Xavier Espot Zamora 

- Minister of the Presidency, Economy and Business: Jordi Gallardo Fernández 

- Minister of Finance and Spokesman: Èric Jover Comas 

- Minister of Foreign Affairs: Maria Ubach Font

- Minister of Justice and Homeland: Josep Maria Rossell Pons 

- Minister of Territorial Planning: Jordi Torres Halcón 

- Minister of Social Affairs, Housing and Youth: Víctor Filloy Franco 

- Minister of the Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability: Silvia Calvó Armengol 

- Minister of Tourism: Verónica Canals Riba 

- Minister of Health: Juan Martínez Benazet 

- Minister of Education and Higher Education: Ester Vilarrubla Escales 

- Minister of Culture and Sports: Silvia Riva González 

- Minister of Public Function and Administration Reform: Judith Pallarés Cortés 

On the other hand, the Government will have at least one Secretary of State directly attached to the head of Government: 

- Secretary of State for European Affairs: Landry Riba Mandicó 

Finally, Ester Fenoll Garcia will be the general secretary of the Government, Guillem Casal Font the head of the Cabinet of the head of Government, and María Marina Amat the head of the Government's Protocol.
